National Bike Week is on from the 13th to the 20th of June. As part of this initiative of getting the
county’s wheels in motion the following events will take place:
- Paul Griffin will be giving advice on cycling training and nutrition on radio Kerry on Monday 14th between 1:30 and 2:30. Ahead of the programme he welcomes questions on the topics, to address on air. Will members with questions please email or text them to me before Tuesday evening next, 8th June?
- Anthony O’Halloran from O’Halloran Cycles in Tralee will present a workshop on Bike selection and maintenance in the Meadowlands Hotel, Tralee on Wednesday 16th June from 8:00 to 9:30p.m. Put this one in your diary, folks for an opportunity to get some very good practical advice, demonstrated by an expert.
- Currow Cycling Club are hosting the Family Fun Cycle on Sunday 13th, in association with their Week-end of Cycling programme. To help with that programme they would welcome marshalling assistance on Sunday 13th from any of the Chain Gang with a couple of hours to spare.
