The Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare will be held on Saturday the 27th of May 2017. Participants will have a choice of an exciting 140km or 100km cycle by the rugged Wild Atlantic Way coastal route of the Beara Peninsula.
Starting in Kenmare and heading out the Beara Peninsula towards Lauragh, passing some of Ireland’s most picturesque and quaint towns including Ardgroom, Eyeries, Allihies, Castletownbere, Adrigole, Glengarriff and back to Kenmare town. Cyclists can revel in the unspoiled beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way.
The 140km route will leave Kenmare and branch right beyond Eyeries following the Wild Atlantic Way to Allihies and on to Castletownbere to meet up with the 100km route which will leave Kenmare and head directly towards Castletownbere.
The cycle will finish in the idyllic Kenmare town. Participants will be rewarded with a finishers’ medal, hot food, hot tubs, massage and entertainment.
