The Ring of Beara Cycle Kenmare will be held on Saturday the 27th of May 2017. Participants will have a choice of an exciting 140km or 100km cycle by the rugged Wild Atlantic Way coastal route of the Beara Peninsula. There are times when you tentatively leave the house in a half-hearted fashion, going through the motions of trying to keep yourself in shape and just getting out on the bike. I suppose one of the disadvantages of living is Kerry, is that you take the things that are on your door-step for granted. One thought I use for motivation, is that people pay good money from around the World to visit here, so let's make the most of what we have and get out and see it. Certainly one of the show piece routes has to be the Ring of Kerry. 80 K cycle in Barraduff

The 4th annual 80km cycle in aid of Barraduff National School will take place on Sunday June 7th 2015. The cycle will follow the same route as last year: Barraduff, Kilgarvan, Kenmare, Molls Gap, Killarney and back to Barraduff again. This cycle is a fundraiser in aid of Barraduff National school and os organised by the parents committee.
