An Post Rás

The third stage of the 2011 Ras will be running into Castleisland this year on the 24th of the month after a 175km run from Kilrush. The riders will face the Ahaneboy climb before dropping down to the town and facing into the Crag Cave climb before a final descent and rush for the line on Main Street on returning to the town. Christmas Hamper Cycling Race

Killorglin Cycling Club will host their annual Christmas Hamper Rides on Sunday 11th December.  Sign on will take place in the Killorglin Rowing Club from 9:00am.  The rides will get underway at 10:00am.  There are two courses to choose from - a 55km ride that is largely flat and an 80km run that includes the climb at Farmers Bridge. Kerry Group Rás Mumhan

The first major stage race of the 2015 Irish Cycle Season, the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan will again take place over the 4 days of Easter week-end from April 3rd to April 6th 2015. However, the 2015 Race will see some changes to the route details with Easter Saturday’s Stage 2 although still starting and finishing in Kenmare.  Full route details will be released on here shortly.

The 3 Climbs Challenge

The 3 Climbs cycle is a fundraiser for Kerry Hospice which provide vital cancer support to cancer patients, and it also promotes Suicide Awareness, Last year and this year we will give each cyclist a #livelife wrist band which is a foundation set up in the name of the late Donal Walsh From Blennerville in Tralee. A choice of a 100, 78 or 35 km rides.

Its Lacey Cup time again, the grand opener to the Munster racing season. This year again, due to CI rule T5.1.11 there will be a separate A4 race should the entries exceed 140 riders. The A4 Race will be immediately AFTER the A1/A2/A3 race.
